Cooperation Case | Paddle Boats Order to Canada

The client from Ontario, Canada ordered 2 sets of kids paddle boats with DDP door-to-door delivery terms.

Canada covers a vast territory. Deliveries to small towns and remote areas will incur extra inland shipping surcharges. During order processing, we confirmed the delivery address was in a remote zone, and the additional logistics cost was far beyond our budget.

We communicated openly with the client and offered multiple solutions. Finally, both sides agreed to cancel the shipment. To compensate for bank charges and exchange losses from cross-border payment, we fully refunded the payment and covered all related fees. All procedures were completed in compliance with foreign exchange and logistics regulations.

Though this order was not delivered successfully, we always adhere to integrity. We have optimized our quotation process for Canada: we now verify postal codes in advance and clearly mark remote area charges in all quotations, to avoid similar issues for future clients.
